After initial delivery in September, 2006, she traveled the East Coast for the next 18 months as far south as Georgetown in the Bahamas to as far north as Boston.  In the Spring of 2008, she left Charleston, SC, about 4/1 to travel to the Chicago IL area via the St. Lawrence seaway and the Great Lakes.  On 6/28/08 she arrived at her summer homeport in Hammond IN.  On 7/9/09, she departed Chicago for the East Coast via the St. Lawrence and arrived Ft. Lauderdale, FL about 12/5/09 after 4,400 nm miles of travel from Chicago.

As of now (6/23/10), SHEARWATER has traveled over 19,000 nm since initial delivery.
